réunir les moyens nécessaires à l'organisation et à la promotion des projets artistiques, culturels, socioculturels, d'évènements et d'un festival ayant pour thème "les musiques du monde" ainsi que de toutes actions et opérations qui lui sont liées, en amont et en aval (créations, coproductions, partenariats, actions pédagogiques et de sensibilisation, diffusion, enregistrements, manifestations festives etc) ; encourager la connaissance et la pratique des musiques, chants (et danses) du monde en favorisant les rencontres et croisements entre traditions authentiques et remises en jeu contemporaines, en réunissant artistes confirmés et en devenir, en aidant à l'émergence de nouveaux talents ; concevoir et mettre en oeuvre les projets, actions et produits concourant à es objectifs, dans tous les lieux et structures, publics et privés, dédiés ou non à ce domaine d'activité ; favoriser la rencontre entre pratiques amateurs et professionnelles, en s'appuyant sur les dynamiques locales, les réseaux existants ou à développer ; créer les conditions de mutualisation des moyens et d'une réflexion commune entre villes, structures, réseaux afin de favoriser pour le plus grand nombre, l'accès à ces pratiques et formes artistiques
