Objet :

regrouper patients et sympathisants afin de lutter contre les risques de cécité liés à la dégénérescence maculaire liée à l'âge (DMLA) ; aider les patients atteints de DMLA à surmonter leur handicap en leur portant assistance, en les informant sur leur maladie, sa prévention, sur les aides optiques et informatiques, sur la rééducation visuelle et sur l'état des recherches en cours ; ce soutien s'adresse également aux aidants et à l'entourage des patients ; intervenir auprès des services publics et tous organismes concernés pour faciliter la vie des personnes atteintes de dégénérescence maculaire ; promouvoir, encourager, faciliter la recherche médicale et scientifique en ophtalmologie ; organiser des réunions, des actions d'information et de prévention sur la DMLA ; et, de manière générale, participer à toutes actions ayant pour but de lutter contre la DMLA
