promotion du répertoire musical arabo-andalou de Tunisie ; pour se faire, l'association se propose de mettre en oeuvre tous ses moyens pour : travailler ce répertoire autour de musiciens expérimentés ou non, le transmettre à un public désireux de découverte culturelle, le faire connaître, le partager, le promouvoir et le diffuser ; perpétuer, transmettre et consolider cet héritage commun qui représente une source précieuse et nécessaire à l'identité commune ; cette source doit être accessible à un public en quête de découverte culturelle et historique ; en réssuscitant des oeuvres lointaines et quelques fois méconnues, l'association "malouf tunisien" fera découvrir au grand public la véritable richesse de ce patrimoine
